Looking on with ever-increasing Horror, together with the rest of the civilised world, my overwhelming response is despair as to how on earth are we going to get out of this?? People seem to be pinning their hopes on the midterms. BUT do you really think they are going to be Free And Fair? Trump has already demonstrated he is capable of anything and everything! Do you really think he and his supporters will allow themselves to suffer the consequences of their criminal actions?
I thank the Universe that I live in Oz, where the political system is relatively fair. But what has been perpetrated in the US is dragging the rest of the world into your disaster and we didn't vote for it!

You are absolutely right. The level of cynicism, corruption and depravity of this lot is sickening. I was raised as a Catholic, and now describe as a non believer, but I think I have more respect for the words of Jesus than they have. They would rush to throw the first stone at this woke preacher looking like a Palestinian. They are stuck in the Old Testament with a vengeful God.
As I read this column, the thoughts going through my head are very unchristian. I keep wondering who I hate the most in the administration and in what order I want them to die. I’ve never felt like this about any administration and it makes me sick that I’ve dipped to that level. I just want it to be over already.

The only thing I can add is, I becoming more terrified by the day.....t***p is a complete lunatic and he knows he's not in good health, IMO. So, he's ready to blow up the world and take everyone with him when he goes.
When the war gets expensive enough to affect the investments and capital of the Oligarchs then Trump will be killed. The same as he would if he were Russian. It's the same people protecting the same power and pile of gold. I am truly sorry so many people will have to suffer in the mean time. I am aware, my eyes are open. I am resisting where I can.
It’s astounding to me how many completely unqualified people he has managed to gather in one administration. Finding that many stupid people who are just drooling vegetables has to be an accomplishment of a sort. It’s discouraging to realize how many millions of people are actually ok with this nonsense this administration is doing. SMFH over and over again every time I look at the news. We are all headed for a total meltdown because Congress has just passed on doing their jobs and letting that lunatic continue down the rabbit hole. Ugh

We are in an abusive relationship and as many women find themselves, afraid for many reasons to leave. He is surrounded by a Band of Bozos as corrupt as he. His idea of celebrating our 250th anniversary is an MMA "fight" on the White House lawn. I'd rather see a massive "No Kings" demonstration in every truly caring city and community on July 4th. We have an abusive, weak, demented, criminal pseudo-king, just a tin-horn dictator as we used to call them. As an attorney I will never forget the woman who came to us for help with her abusive marriage. We showed her places to go for help. She left, did nothing, and her husband killed her the next day. Dementia Donnie will easily kill us all than be definitively exposed.
