On one hand I see all the democratic wins we've had in 21, 22, and 23, I think there's no way we can lose in 24, but the Republicans play so dirty, I'm always nervous about some fake scandal they will come up with at the Iast moment that will turn voters against Biden. I'm hoping people remember Hillary and don't fall for it again. I heard Biden say the other day 'Remember how it felt when you found out Trump had won?' Such a jarring memory, is was horrible. I hope I'm not the only one that feels this way.

The MAGAs see Trump as a pseudo-Michael Bloomberg, a successful businessman/entrepeneur who is civic-minded, pragmatic and capable. But that is the conman's illusion they have fallen in love with thanks to Celebrity Apprentice and a by-cable-ratings-damaged news media ecosystem. I know I've skipped all over the racism/bigotry which I think we can all agree is vital to the MAGA movement.

Although I fully agree with what you wrote, my hope is that it truly will light a fire on any doubters opinion and stir them to vote blue. Thank you so much for your talent and gift of prose.

I observed Matt Gaetz sitting there like a choir boy caught in the vestry with a chicken. Something’s up…

🔥 As usual, Noel... 🔥

I do want to take a moment to ask (aka beg) you to please stay on the "Shitter" now "x" app until after the election. I learned so much from your posts during and after trump's term. Your posts come from a source who was "in the room" with him, who knows him and his crime family, is familiar with his kowtowing to Russians invited to the after parties of the Apprentice. And the humor! I think I can speak for all of your followers - we need your humor! I used to go to your timeline first thing in the morning and last thing at night and I miss knowing you'll be there every day even though you've been more active lately. After the election, I'll look into Threads. Until then, as you can tell by the numerous "likes" your recent posts continue to receive, there are still a lot of us left who count on your voice to get us through the next 8 months. Hope you'll consider sticking with it. Thank you for sharing your insight, your experiences and your humor with all of us! You are a true wordsmith. 💗

So beautifully written and so dang accurate. Whatever happened to that $200M "investment" into an aluminum factory in KY that was never built by the Voy, Oleg Deripaska anyway? Did it just drop into McConnell Senate PAC with the other Russian donations ( source Dallas Morning News, around 2018 but probably multiple mentions)?

Probably too big for that but it definitely went to some nefarious use.

It is still hard to believe that you can actually get 70 million people to believe this conman but he does excel at one thing, bullshit. He is definitely the king of bullshit.

I watched Robert De Niro blast Trump on Bill Maher with the same delight I have seen before. De Niro is a born and raised NYer and he along with others always saw Trump for the AssClown he has always been. But the core beliefs of the "governing" GOP is gone and forgotten when half are cowards and the other half opportunists with not a shred of morality or common decency. The men from my father's generation, especially the Republicans would never have fallen for this "AsssHOle" ( I am recalling a friend's father when he said it, like this, brilliantlydrawn out with vocal contempt).

But alas that generation are mostly gone now. That so much could be forgotten is more than sad. Reading some comments online where the Trump fan club was about 50/50 with the sane folks regarding DeNiro's appearance on BIll Maher, the general sentiment was how everything was great under Trump and the economy was so much better ( so SOMETHING must be wrong with DeNiro-sheesh) Short term memory morons that have a very simplistic sense of, well everything. The same folk that likely took a beating in the last recession of 08/09 thought putting a game show host with NO leadership experience in the freaking Whitehouse was just peachy, and STILL do! ( madrone).

I am hoping we can get a few % of morons or past voters of Trump to realize the danger and reject this sleazy grifter when voting. Too .much is at stake to have it turn out any other way.

In the meantime, I will enjoy your writing and share.

Thanks, RV.
